You set a time of departure and the car calculates when it needs to start to hit your departure time. How is departure charging different than scheduled charging?

Certainly legal reasons in our sue-happy society.Maybe it is hardware limited, but if so put out a statement to gen1 owners that explains the rationale.
Was Rivians Gen 2 hardware choices modeled after what Mobileye super-vision needs>It's still 100% MobileEye for now. They left themselves some extra compute overhead and a way to take over ADAS but so far it seems like they have not moved in that direction.
The features they are announcing are part of the currently installed MobileEye SuperVision:

I’d say by next weekend.I see 2025.6.1 and 2025.6.30 on electrify so probably a couple of days away from the release.
2.20.0 phone app is available.I see 2025.6.1 and 2025.6.30 on electrify so probably a couple of days away from the release.
Got it. thanks. How accurate was it with the Tesla? Sounds like Rivian should work on this after they fix the L2 cold weather charging issues on G2 vehicles. You set a time of departure and the car calculates when it needs to start to hit your departure time.
Worked perfectly in my lowly Bolt so I‘m sure others can duplicate if they want. ?Got it. thanks. How accurate was it with the Tesla? Sounds like Rivian should work on this after they fix the L2 cold weather charging issues on G2 vehicles.
If this is an actual use case for you, get a soft start for the blower motor. My R1T will not run my furnace. Natural gas forced air furnace.
I will see how much it will cost.If this is an actual use case for you, get a soft start for the blower motor.
I think they'll launch this when self-driving will be available. For the time being, it's just checking for the proximity of the vehicle in front of you.Overall, very solid update. I'm excited.
So for the go chime, does it not work if you're in the front of a line at a stop light?
Also, I wonder if the enhanced highway assist just does away with the wheel touching requirement or if the actual driving is also updating with regards to centering, dealing with close cars, etc.
Looking forward to the sound improvements too.
Oh, I particularly like that one!!I like this one…
Improvements with the Rivian mobile app version 2.20.0 or later:
- You can now open or close the charge port door remotely without unlocking the vehicle.
It worked well with the Tesla. I charge to 90% each day, and it would be nice to not be sitting at 90% for 3 hours each night. Also, starting your drive in the morning on a warmed up battery is more efficient, I think.Got it. thanks. How accurate was it with the Tesla? Um, wait. That sounds like a very simple approach. Does that simply mean a motor that can start up without a huge power draw?If this is an actual use case for you, get a soft start for the blower motor.
