excited for the bug fixes as always, and the new excited to try new Enhanced Highway Assist

also great to see them improving the Sound system still. there is much room for improvement here.

Highlights - Major Features

• Enhanced Highway Assist allows hands-free driving with Driver Attention Detection [Gen 2]
• New Go Chime feature alerts you when vehicle ahead drives away [Gen 2]
• Wheel and Tire Swap feature allows saving up to six configurations with accurate range estimates
• New Rally drive mode added for Performance Dual-Motor vehicles
• Performance Upgrade now available for purchase on eligible Dual-Motor vehicles, adding Sport, Soft Sand, and Rally modes
• Auto-Tilting Side Mirrors in Reverse feature added (disabled by default)

• You can now open or close the charge port door remotely without unlocking the vehicle.

Overall, very solid update. I'm excited.

So for the go chime, does it not work if you're in the front of a line at a stop light?

Also, I wonder if the enhanced highway assist just does away with the wheel touching requirement or if the actual driving is also updating with regards to centering, dealing with close cars, etc.

Looking forward to the sound improvements too.

I imagine that'd it'd work based on the signal lights themselves. Considering being that close to the light(s) along with the high mounted camera.

It's probably just looking at the car in front of you. Too many variables with trying to look at the actual stop light.

The release notes only talk about a driver in front, they don't mention the light itself.

While you’re at a stop, Go Chime alerts you when the vehicle ahead of you drivers away.

Wow! Did not expect hands free highway assist so soon! Go chime is also an unexpected nice surprise!

NGL - I I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't enable Lane centering off Highway with the introduction of hands-free on the highway

This is super useful because the external charge port button on my Rivians never work for me in cold weather. So even after unlocking, I have to get into the car to open the port.

It will likely disappoint. Rivian doesn’t have the resources or talent to do this right. If they haven’t outsourced most of it already, they will.

Don't know why they couldn't alert you on a Gen 1 when the car drives away.

Glad to see what changes they made with vampire drain.

Where is launch mode for Gen 1's????????
