You can actually push the R2's hood open a little farther if you need to. It'll go around a foot taller. I suspect they did this because short people might really struggle with it all the way open, considering it doesn't auto-close.

I think the right set of 18's with 33s will actually fit on the R2. These ones didn't have the right bolt pattern, so weren't gonna fit anyway, but I got them pretty centrally located and there's still clearance between the caliper in the front. Now I just have to figure out what to buy to do a...

They are load cells, work like the haptic wheels do, but there's no feedback to them. It might've been nice for them to be haptic and have actual feedback that they were activated though.

GOAT Fabrication will sell their sliders without the top plate on them. Most people opt for the top plate. Only photo I have is from when we were doing the very early prototyping.
