Incompatible Tesla v3 Superchargers. Has anyone tried it anyway?
The v3 superchargers need a hardware upgrade to enable non-Tesla charging. I would expect one listed as incompatible to be incompatible. -

Tesla V2 / V3 Supercharger question
Its hardware. Last year I ran into a Tesla tech at a V3 installation near me that was only a few months old. He was upgraded hardware to allow non-Tesla charging. That station is on the NACS list. -
New Mustang Mach-e GT Rally EV beats Rivian R3X to the punch
Surprised they built it but I should hope even dysfunctional Ford could "beat Rivian to the punch" since they first showed the rally Mockey about two years ago.- rodhx

Anyone else having Charge Port door issue after 2024.07.02?
I’m with you on this and was another victim that had the actuator replaced. I told the SC folks there just simply is no way all these failures are a coincidence. They sympathized but aren’t in a position to deal with potential OTA issues. Updates do not require the trucks to be plugged in...- rodhx

Why does EA let random strangers stop your charge?
Pretty sure this isn‘t just an EA problem btw. You can stop a chargepoint session from the screen. Can‘t speak to EVGo as i have only used their overpriced chargers once. That common EA station design is confusing. They need large signs that say “only one cable can be used at a time” and logic... -
2024.07.03 Software Update Released
Exactly what happened to mine. Picked it up yesterday. At least the new actuator opens a bit further so better clears the side marker light. Bonus was they replaced my power tonneau with the new version while they had the truck. -

Yeah, my experiences have been very good anyway but they seem to be hustling to fix it since the vehicle is unusable. I just wish I had had enough range to drive the 160miles to a SC to get a shot at a loaner while it's there. 😆- rodhx

They want to tow mine to the service center Wednesday. I suggested that i would rather wait for the almost certainly needed software fix since other trucks are having the issue post the latest update. They are concerned waiting could result in a dead battery and even worse issues.- rodhx

This has just happened to my truck. Updated Wed or Thu last week. Charged it Friday night post OTA. Just got home from church and charge door won’t open. infotainment reset and vehicle reset had no effect. Been on the phone with service and looking to hear back tomorrow. Charge port location poll: what standardized location would you like to see?
I like the idea of front center (or rear center but problematic for a truck). It could be one of the few things Renault.... err "Nissan"... has gotten right in recent decades 😆- rodhx
