Nice work.... Links to the specific magsafe adapter and DC-DC converter you used?

I've tried a bunch of different magsafe adapters in my other car installations. In general, I've found magnetic attachment strength is much more a factor of the phone case that is used vs. the magsafe adapter, but curious which one you used. I do a lot of mountain driving, and having a magsafecharger-to-phone connection that is strong enough to prevent the phone from flying around in the corners is critical!

Also, not a fan of the posi-tap solution on the super fine gauge wire. I always like my mods to be 100% reversible, and would be concerned that those vampire taps might possibly cause an intermittent once removed. Not really sure what the alternative is, other than trying to route a feed wire into the compartment itself and using the existing USB port?

I used a simple $5.99 solution that seems to work for me. No modification to the existing charge pad. I simply added a thin nonslip silicon pad over the existing one, cut to fit. Fully reversible.

It charges even with a TPU case still attached, holds my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G in place without sliding around. Individual results may vary...

Yeah, better than nothing, and an easy solution, but no way that would hold my phone in place on the roads I drive...

You should source enough parts to make a LOT of them if you plan to sell them because the demand will be high. I'm thinking that you'd easily sell out 100.
Add me to the line of people waiting for a dual and nobody tell OutofSpec Kyle!

No line cutting!

I may see if I can source the components here in bulk for a group buy or similar. If you're interested, please post below. Right now, everything here is pretty hard to come by, and the posi-taps are stupid expensive if you're looking for lower quantities.
Count me in for a dual!

Printing tonight - I'm optimistic this is both going to be more stable, more structurally sound, and less cumbersome to print. I also have a lead on a less expensive outsourced 3D printing solution.

More tomorrow...
