Element fire extinguisher?
The element IMHO is better than nothing.... Maybe.. Barely. Except that it likely gives you a false sense of protection. A small dry chemical extinguisher if used properly is very effective and cheap (but makes a hell of a mess). Halon-alike extinguishers are very effective, very expensive...- pfbz

Windshield Replacement Hassle
Sounds like a Progressive insurance issue more than a Rivian issue.... There are plenty of windshields out there that are only available directly from the manufacturer, certainly not a situation unique to Rivian. But sure, it's more difficult than getting a Ford Explorer windshield that is...- pfbz

@momo3605, Would you do me a favor and actually check if disabling the forward collision warning resets between drives on your truck? I've had it to Rivian and they first said they also thought it was a bug, but then returned it the same way essentially saying it's a 'feature' and it doesn't... -

Cheap and easy rubber bed liner / mat for Rivian R1T
....actually, looking at the bedrug website and Amazon, looks like they have a universal cut-to-fit liner that could be installed in the R1T... 5.5'x8'. Cheaper than the DeeZee rubber mat as well. Think I'm going to order one and give it a try... Not that full custom fit I have in the F150... -

BedRug has been perfect for me in my F150, holds up great, gentle on gear, much reduced sliding.... Hoping that they come out with an R1T fitment though all the 'extras' in the Rivian bed probably make it a bit more challenging. -
