Depending on the weather it may show negativeI am anxious to see how the elevation feature works. Where we operate Opal most of the time, the elevation varies from nine to thirty feet above see level.

Indio, CA should be interesting as well it is between -13 feet and -150 feet below sea level.I am anxious to see how the elevation feature works. Where we operate Opal most of the time, the elevation varies from nine to thirty feet above see level.

My truck has already been to 13.7k feet off-road.I am anxious to see how the elevation feature works. Where we operate Opal most of the time, the elevation varies from nine to thirty feet above see level.
Highly unlikely it's going to be calculated from a barometer, even if Rivian does have a hardware barometer hidden somewhere that we don't know about. Almost certainly will be GPS based, preferably GPS combined with map data for better accuracy. GPS will show you altitude relative to the datum, but the the datum is only an approximation of the Earth's shape. Don't expect it to be accurate to within a few meters.Depending on the weather it may show negative
I have more elevation change in my 1300' driveway than the highest point in Florida!I am anxious to see how the elevation feature works. Where we operate Opal most of the time, the elevation varies from nine to thirty feet above see level.
