Isn't there something out there where Elon claimed "near infinite towing capability"? Does that mean that my R1T has near infinite towing capability? I kinda always thought that 11,000 lbs was a long way from infinity. I guess not in Elon's world.

Elon said "the CT can pull almost infinite mass" which is very different from "near infinite towing capability". The ISS has an approximate mass of approximately 1,000,000lbs, but in zero gravity it has no weight.. so in theory the CT could tow the ISS out in space it it could somehow get traction. It was a ridiculous claim, but technically somewhat accurate in the same way you do physics problems in high school science class.

Tesla is starting to deploy CT at their showrooms. Supposedly, there is one at UTC Tesla store in La Jolla.

It so tough they need to rope it off so no one touches it.

Reminds me of trying to get fingerprints off a stainless fridge. Before they started coating them with poly, you'd have to clean the entire thing to get it to look consistent again, or just give up.
