I didn't hear anything at the test drive event. They must have had it disabled.Has anyone that's been near one of the production ready trucks heard the low speed sound? It seems weird that we haven't seemingly heard it in any of the recent builds that I can recall...
Hopefully it’s nothing like the current Amazon vans when they backup. Those sound like the speaker is damaged.I didn't hear anything at the test drive event. They must have had it disabled.
The ID.4 sound is fine but it is loud. They put it at the upper end of the mandated volume range. So does the Rav4. I think the sound on the ID.4 is kind of cool. Nit great for offloading, but we've all discussed that issue.
Second!!!The Jetson's spaceship sound is the obvious winner, for me.
I mean, there is.Also, I hope there is a way to disable the sound when on trials. Although, I don't think there is a provision for that in the law.
...for that matter, I wish there is a way for the consumer to disable the sound...
I'd rather the sound of a growling mountain lion, just so I could cruise parking lots and make people drop their groceries running for their car.I think the sound of footsteps hiking would be cool for Rivian. People would think Big Foot was approaching them.
