Tie rods are meant to be a weak link when they break. If you reinforce the tie rock, this means that the weak link will be transferred to another part of the car, which can be more expensive to fix/replace. It might also void any warranties to this section of the car, because it is changing the design of the car.Yikes..third post of damaged tie rod I see in a day. Maybe this preventative "upgrade" is necessary and much better deal than 1k+ for the same flimsy tie rod.
I wouldnāt install this in my Rivian.
