That *unconfirmed* method of determining your position became completely invalid in August of 2020 when the order numbering method changed and it now appears to be randomized.

Ahhh, ok that makes me feel a bit better. Still not expecting anything within the next year, but I feel like the line might be smaller now. Unless it’s actually longer haha. I know I’ve seen some estimated pre-order totals over 50k now so just made an assumption. Thank you both for correcting me.

Yours is correct. #s are not sequential or meaningful after August 2020.

Alright, I also have enough data to show trending over time. Maybe @johnking can work his magic again with production estimates...might be good to run a few different attrition & production volume scenarios.

Congrats, you're the earliest in the dataset so far! Makes me think there were employee and/or test numbers prior to 1600!

I tried your technique of using the preorder Email to find the order number. But the link now goes to a generic Customer Service page.

However if you poke around on your "Configuration Summary" HTML source code page you can still find your order number. The HTML is as follows:

My preorder date is: December 28, 2018 and I think the order number is 44xx

You look like you're a fairly new member to these Forums, yes? Great to have you onboard!

I'm not sure how derived your order number, but it appears overly optimistic, given the numbers listed in post numbers 500 & 509. It could be that you subtracted the 1,000 figure that was suspected to be the starting point, and they didn't. Just wondering if you found yours via the method spelled out earlier in this thread.

Regardless of that number, enjoy the interaction here!
