Oh, man! I have the perfect answer, but I know my Mom would slap me on my first day in Heaven for saying it. Then again, if I say it, maybe I won't see her later.6969

The Mach-E is not a good test of what is feasible. Ford announced it would only produce 50k units of the first model year due to battery shortage. I expect they planned their production and ramp up to keep the line operational throughout the first year. In other words, Ford had no reason to do a fast ramp up to 20k/month only to shut down the line two months later — they are ok with slow and steady through the first year.Order Date 12/19/19 #38860
I think it's unlikely that Rivian would be able to keep pace with Ford's ramp up of production of the Mach E @
Ford Mustang Mach-E production - April 2021
Production of the Mustang Mach-E stands at some 6,155 units in April and close to 21,000 YTD. The total production is already above 27,000.
So based on that if I'm really 38860 it's going to be close to 2022 unless a shit ton of people fall out of line for whatever reason. So basically a 24 month spread from my order date.
