My door closed on its own shortly after the truck woke up from sleep after I removed the cable. Probably 3-4 seconds between unplug and close. Clearly if it's not supposed to do it automatically anymore that Rivian definitely has a logic problem.

They should know the issue to be able to fix it.
Update: My charge port door worked perfectly this morning. Took out the plug, it stayed open, and when I flipped the truck into reverse the door closed. #winning

Mine operated as intended this morning as well. I'll keep pulling out quickly, though, just to be safe...

Ours closed quickly this morning after update.

Note our nav and cameras are frozen. I assume the SOP is to perform a soft reset, right?

Mine won the capture the handle game today....chomp chomp....I was slow on the draw and it grabbed and didn't want to let go. Seems it times out luckily and I was able to force open enough to get handle out.

Next time......I shall win this game....

Has this patch pretty much rolled put to everyone?

2.6 failed for me and I haven't seen this patch. Just checking before I bother contacting Rivian.

Wild the charge port door seems to work differently for various folks. I've plugged/unplugged twice since installing this update and it hasn't tried to chop me yet.

Just happened to me too. My charge was fully complete and the moment I started to disconnect it closed. Yikes.
Happened to me today too. First time charging/having the door open since the update. Luckily I saw these posts, so I avoided having my hand or fingers chopped.

When 2.6 failed for you, did it flash a "12V too low" error? And does it currently say you are up to date at the previous .47 version? If so, you will probably have to have your 12V batteries replaced or serviced. At least that is what happened to me when my 2.6 update failed and then disappeared. If you call the service number on your app, they can look at your vehicle remotely and tell you if you need to have it serviced.
