Poll: Time From Guide Contact to Delivery

There are enough forum members enjoying their Rivian now who've lived the full-cycle from that initial Guide assignment to the joy of true Rivian ownership. And we know more than a few endured bumps in that journey. Set the voting limit to two choices for those who had a firm delivery date commitment and then unfortunate circumstances that delayed final delivery. The idea being they can vote for a value representing original expectation and again for the final outcome, if they so choose.

Kept the choices reasonable instead of trying to parse it down to blocks of days. for those like me in the midst of this process, it will still be insightful to have some clue what the community is experiencing. Thanks for your participation.

I was told 3-5 weeks in my first meeting with my guide then delivery happened in 16 days.

I'm nearly 4 weeks since guide contact and I'm expecting 4 weeks more....

Mine was around 7 weeks (3/14 guide contact to 5/7 delivery).

I had my Intro call and signed the PBA on 5/16 (this past Monday) and was told I might take delivery by the end of the month or definitely before the end of June. I'll fill out the poll once I have the truck.

This Thursday makes 3 weeks for me since I signed my PBA. Guide has nothing to report.

I’m in week 9, no vehicle yet.

Mine will be two weeks.

I know there are issues, but a mistake I think some people are making (POST VIN) is moving slow on their side. I completed the 8 steps including payment within 10 minutes. I’ve never done a phone call with anyone, including my guide - online and text only. My portion of the process is instant.

I see people saying they are skipping steps, have an insurance call next week, etc. make Rivians and your guide’s life easy. Be their favorite because you're not annoying and respect their time.

When you need to fill up a delivery truck, whose truck goes on it? The person that did 5 steps but has no insurance and hasn’t paid or to the person that has completed 7 steps, paid and is just waiting delivery?

Pre VIN I think it's just luck - are they making a batch that matches yours or is that in 2,3,4 weeks. 4 weeks ago it was black mountain. The last 2 I'm pretty sure it's been forest edge, now I suspect we are back to black mountain again.

Wow! That makes "End of the month" actually sound possible!

No! Nope! No way! I am NOT going to get overly excited yet! Nope! Not gonna do it!

It will be 3 weeks for me tomorrow from first guide call. He told me to expect the process to go fast since I had a common configuration. He said one to two weeks to get the 8 step started but still waiting. I sent an email at the end of last week seeking status info but have heard nothing. I'm ready to finish all 7 steps that are up to me as soon as the process opens!
