Sucks. Atlanta service guys simply said it's normal.. I don't know how to convince so they can do those electrical tape fix.
I just know that at 70 it’s a loud whistling noise…I have to look at the dash to know I’m not driving a 1970s Ford truck with vent windows. $80k trucks shouldn't be doing this BS.

Well, service center guys said Tesla is louder and it's NORMAL for EV cars....

This is my first EV, so I don't know how to compare.. But I have driven Audi, BMW, and others, and none of them exhibit this wind noise..

But they refused to address the wind noise, since it's NORMAL..

This is my first EV as well…and I do figure that in when considering my tolerance…an even, turbulent wind noise on a square object like this truck…normal…whistling like a window is cracked…not so much.

Have a Tesla model Y. Sister has a X. Mom has a S. Wife has a Mustang Mach E. All quiet no weird wind noises from doors or windows. I’d be pretty mad if a service advisor said that to me…

Same with my truck. I can hear the wind noise howling in the cabin.

My truck is at the service center right now with about a dozen issues, including wind noise. I honestly consider all of my issues minor except for two of them. That said, I’d really like less wind noise. It’s supposed to be a quiet cabin.

The Teslas I have had and currently have are pretty noisy, but from road noise, not wind noise. Teslas don’t do much for sound deadening anyway.

I was told by the Brooklyn service center that they couldn't replicate the wind noise that I hear when I go above 40-45 mph. They then admitted that they can't safely drive over the speed limit of 25 on Brooklyn streets. I guess they got rid of the BQE recently? Though in fairness no one has ever gone over 30 on the BQE.

This is the third time I've tried to get it repaired, so I think I'm just going to live with it.

That's exactly where I am at. I am looking for aftermarket accessories that I can install to reduce the noise..

The mobile unit is set for tomorrow morning to check my wind noise as well ( also calibrate for the tires I bought from you). Thanks again Rousie13 and I will suggest they do the same as on your truck.
Hopefully your trip out west went smoothly.

The tire setup is pretty easy and I wish we could do it ourselves.

My truck had a pretty big gap between the driver door and the front seal on the rear door. They adjusted the doors the most they could without really screwing up the gaps on the doors. This greatly decreased the gap since the the driver door should be sitting on that seal, so this helped my wind noise problem a lot. All of the other fixes just made it better.

Now it’s just a normal truck wind noise and no whistling like a window is open like some others have mentioned.

Has anyone had major wind noise to the point of annoyance? I'm not sure where it is coming from but anytime I'm over 45mph it is like I'm in Wyoming. It's either the windshield and/or both door A pillar seals. I've put in a service request. We'll see what happens.
I get some wind noise from that area but as far as I can tell that's just the effect of having a big mirror out there. It doesn't feel like gaps in the window or anything (can't feel any air with my hand either)

Curious what people are considering "major" wind noise. I had a window that wouldn't roll up and it made a horrible howl (1" from closed) and what I hear normally is nothing like that.

Anyone else's tech try to shift the door inward to deflect wind noise? No, just me?

My tech replaced the entire window seal and then did a test drive....used a vaporizer to try and detect a leak from the fixed window area...said if there was a air leak from the triangle seal it would suck the vapor out any gap over there....it didn't...so replacing the seal fixed the whistling...now it just sounds like turbulence between the A-pillar and the mirror above 60 mph. Radio volume at 10 drowns out any wind noise. Guess that is acceptable for an EV/Truck?

Maybe some minor noise if there are strong cross winds. Otherwise it's pretty much silent.
This is me too. Strong cross winds will open a seal somewhere in my a-pillar areas, but that is it. Otherwise silent to as fast as I go.

move just started getting a whistle from the drivers side. Think this began about a week or 2 ago. I may need to try the vapor lock test!

I had some wind noise still quieter than any of my other vehicles but while on a road trip I decided to tape up the truck. when I taped the triangle windows all wind noise went away. So I had it in for service and I told them about it they replaced the gasket to fix it and now its worse and I wish I just hadn't mentioned it. I'm at the point I'm about to just silicone around the window myself.

Well, that's frustrating...we were about to replace the triangle window...hmm. I will do your painters tape method at some point. I rode passenger and that side also had some wind noise but all seals looked good and tight, so...strange.
