No airbags, it was a multi-car collision and they glanced off my side. Can’t quite tell on the frame. Will wait to hear from collision shop on Monday

well, no airbags is a good sign. Hoping the frame is ok. If yes, could just be an expensive repair. Sounds like you aren’t at fault which will help a lot. Annoying that the accident will be on the car. But sounds like you are ok which is all that matters.

Ugh. Sorry to see that but glad everyone is okay. Did you manage to eject your drive cam storage and take it with you so you have footage in case questions arise about who’s at fault?

No airbags is good news, but it won’t be cheap. Hard to say what these insurance companies might do anymore. Just be glad everyone is ok and if it’s totaled you might get a gen2!

Really hard to say from pics....glad all are ok. They will tear it down and figure out what all needs replacement/repair. With that kind of hit axles or suspension could be tweaked too.

Looks like there was some damage to the front crash structure. It won't be cheap. Parts in the front are easy to replace compared to the side/rear panel.

What hit you? Show us the other vehicle.

Glad you're ok. That picture is very upsetting given the pride and care we take on our Rivians. Given what I've seen on this message board that looks totalled. I would start shopping for a new one.

What’s your best guess on the damage?

Unfortunately I have first hand experience with damaged R1, I would be surprised if this wasn't totaled. My R1 had minor damage to the rear qtr panel and lift gate and the repair was over $ 60,000 and the diminished value was over $ 20,000.00. If you didn't cause the accident you should be compensated for diminished value so that you don't lose out. Glad you're ok. I have a bigger question, if it's totaled would you buy another Rivian?
