Kinda feeling left out! Checking my router and I don't see any substantial traffic on the truck :(.
I would not be concerned. I have not seen this one yet either. Some I see right away, some are a few days later.

I think the longest I waited for one was 6 days, of course that was the one with the garage door feature I really wanted.

I am having problems with my liftgate. After each update, it unlatches but it does not open. I had to do a software reboot to make it work. Even when it is working, its really sensitive. If it senses the least bit of "resistance" (like your finger still on the button) it will not open.
Mine had a similar problem and needed adjustment at service center, you should make an appointment for that.

I have the same problem since I 1st picked up my R1S. I have read on these boards that its usually an adjustment that need to be made. I made my appoint 3 weeks ago and I'm scheduled for February lol

After last months fiasco, Rivian can take their sweet time pushing out this update. I’ll be happy to get it but I’m in no rush.

I've also been struggling with this. I've reset the infotainment a couple times thinking that may help. I recently read that if you press essentially ANY buttons prior to the restored seat/wheel settings after getting in, that it cancels the action. Since knowing this, I've consciously gotten in the truck and waited for the seat/wheel to go back to the saved position before touching anything and this seems to have solved the problem! Just something to be aware of. I wonder in hindsight if I've been cancelling the action at times by being impatient.
Good to know! Thanks for the tip!

.46 just replaced my .42.01 notification that I did not take.
Same here on my R1S. I think I'm going to roll the dice and give it a go (trusting that lessons were learned from the .42 fiasco that led me to skip that update).

Yup! Seat memory is wonky at times. Sometimes it has me driving like a gansta since it didn’t restore after entry/exit mode.
Right now, I change the seat position... the Remember button pops up, I press it and it just dims and stays that way until the window times out. No settings are saved. On .42. Did the hard and soft resets - nothing. Did the seat and wheel calibration - nothing. What's next? 12v hard reset? .46 firmware????

Are you sure its not a gravity / mechanical adjustment required to fix?

Hoping this update fixes .42. Have gone from a zero drama car to...
Vampire drain quadrupled from 0-1 to 4 miles overnight
Navigation screen turned black mid drive
Passenger seat heater randomly turning on and off during a drive
Random reset mid-week while on vacation, which turned gearguard back on
I hate to mention this, but since two updates ago my vampire drain also quadrupled from 0.5kWh/day to up to 2kWh/day or even higher. Rivian even sent a mobile tech out to pull logs and send them to HQ.. the result was "all systems are operating normally". When I asked if vampire drain suddenly quadrupling after an update indicates the update broke something, Rivian just replied "all systems are operating normally" again.
They might be a great innovator company, but when something goes wrong sometimes they just bury their head in the sand and ignore the facts.

It is possible that they have recently modified the deployments. The behavior you are seeing certainly is different from what I saw earlier this year.

Back in April my R1S was in the shop because the February update failed, they fixed the hardware module failing and tried to push the April update (saw the activity on my App) and it failed, they had to reapply the February update, then the March update, and finally the April update.

In July my R1S was in service for a suspension leak. I had a loaner R1T that was 3 updates behind. While I had it I applied the updates, they were only presented in order 1 at a time.
I now feel complete.... Sometimes I know what I am saying :p Just sometimes....

And what do you expect them to do? its within their specs so they won’t go thru every truck to track down every watt.
