Replacement Cabin filter

Mann Filter FP 23 025 is the Rivian branded filter. The same filter for other vehicles is FP 23 024. This filter fits several Kias and Hyundais. Filter is 210mm x 227mm x 30mm

We should be able to get Bosch HEPA filters in the same size. They decrease the flow, but work well in smoke. My only concern is this is mounted almost on the exterior and exposed to elements a bit more than in other cars.

Yes, I understand there are limitations with the HEPA filters (besides being more expensive). I have them here in my house with my HVAC set up for smoke reduction.

The Mann branded filter looks like it's mostly a European filter, but I saw one USA site offering it for $29.

thanks for sharing. its sorta appears HEPA-like based on description but doesnt actually say it is so guessing its not.

Neither of mine measure out to match those figures FYI. The replacements I bought in those dimensions are too small.

I ordered this as a replacement and while close, it did not fit, in case anyone else is considering it.

Frustrating that there is not a clear solution. The Pureflow Cabin Air Filter PC99554X (not 594X) supposedly should fit though as it fits the current model Hyundai Sonata that the Mann FP 23024 is for. Just ordered one, I'll report back on fitment.

Agreed. I was surprised too after reading about it and doing research. We shouldn't have to be doing this anyway. It's going on 2 years now since the R1T was available to the public. Yet here we are. Definitely odd.

The frame for the cabin filter has almost no spare room beyond that filter either, perhaps up to 8" wide would fit but would definitely have to be squeezed.

Back to the drawing board...

This Pureflow is the closest I have found so far. 7.87" W x 9" L

Nope and I don't think anyone else on here did either as it wasn't mentioned. Doesn't show up when I google Rivian R1T cabin air filter but I went to their website and it looks decent, thanks for sharing!

Good to know I landed on the right size based upon their specs. If the Pureflow doesn't fit, I'll try theirs but I've been very happy with Pureflow in the past.

I just ordered the filter from BestEVMod and the same cleaner I know Tesla sprays in for mildew odor.

My Model 3 usually needs the filter to be replaced about once a year or else starts smelling very mildewy. I just spray the cleaner through the ducts with fans on high in the sun, which is exactly what Tesla does if you bring it for service with a mildew smell complaint.
