    @EV Sportline do you recommend i replace everything with the new set or it would be ok replacing just the running board tread plate and frame? im wondering if i can leave the brackets from my previous set or the powder coating on the brackets is also not up to spec.

    R1 Refresh (vs. Pre-Refresh) Reliability

    id go for the refresh. Rivian will do what it takes to correct any issues that come up and i'd probably end up kicking myself for getting a pre-refresh if the refresh has a lot of nice updates.

    im pretty sure they provide support when there's enough weight on the tailgate. if there's too much slack then id get that checked at the SC. they had to trim one of mine because it was too long.

    i finally got my replacement manual tonneau cover. for anyone interested, its the exact same materials and construction as the first one i received in June/July 2023 (broken). no change in latch or anything else that i can see. at least the bag is still the same high quality.

    Increased tire noise from OEM Pirelli 20" ATs after 13k miles

    im going to go with the OEMs again because i have a spare tire that i want to use in a 5 tire rotation pattern. im close to 17k but it hasn't gotten louder than it was at 13k. maybe im more tolerant but its not crazy loud as some others are experiencing.

    my understanding of DM is it automatically engages and disengages the rear motor (conserve mode) so sounds like it was disengaged (normal) and its reengaging for traction (also normal)...

    they said they would be touring the country with the R2 so keep an eye out on their website or SM for the next location. i doubt the R3/R3X will show up for most of those. only here because its Normal.

    huge improvement to the app as it relates to service. you can now see all the requests you've submitted. still doesnt display what you wrote but at least it shows you the pics/vids you uploaded so you can reference/remember. appointment times can be months out so its now easy to refresh on...

    they are not getting rid of the quad. its a differentiator. would be even more if the released tank turn. it makes sense for them to add the Entry lineup (though I hate the names Entry and Premium, hopefully its just for the filing). it'll be 2 years until the R2 is delivered. they needed...
