I don't remember when this started but it's been a very long time (years?).

2023 R1S Gen 1

Usually happens overnight or even during some driving. Start driving in the morning, after the first stop at a traffic light, the car front end adjusts itself. Can happen throughout the day if you drive, park, drive, park.

And there was a multi-week period where the front end of the car was squeaking very loudly at very low speeds (5 mph). Then it just went away.

Anyone else have these issues? I have a service appt coming up to look at the vehicle but it would be good to know if others have had this fixed (how, what, why)

Loose connection or leak in the air suspension? Has happened to a lot of people. Should be covered by warranty. Any audible "Sssss" when parked? Might help to take measurements / photos prior to the service appointment, so you can show them exactly what is happening. Good luck!

Is it a visible sag os just that it adjust when you start driving? Are you driving in auto ride height or manuel?

When I first got mine the left front would sag overnight but when I started driving it would correct. That ended being a pinched O ring where the suspension had a slow leak. It was covered under warrenty.

I drive in manual ride height but the air temperature does effect the pressure in the shocks so if it goes from a hot day to a cold day or cold to hot, mine will occasionally adjust when I first start driving. This seems to be normal.

it's a visible sag, i can tell the car is lower than it was when i parked, always using all purpose no-auto manual standard height. it's been happening all year round.

Easy way to tell just just put a piece of tape from the tire to the fender. In the morning if the tape sags, boom there it is

My R1T didn't lose any height in over a week after they replaced they dampers. One side would be completely empty after a few days of sitting before that.

Mine must’ve developed a very slow leak. After a little over a week of being parked the entire front is low while the rear look normal.

Mine just returned from service for the exact same issues. Squeaking was ting washers on front half shafts and they found a leak in left front damper. Both dampers replaced and no issues since.

I had this with my 2023 R1S and recorded a video and entered a service ticket. They checked it in the shop and ended up replacing the front end components with the newer Gen 2 parts.

My 2022 R1T also has this same issue. While it was in the service center this week for the rear toe link recall, they checked out the suspension system. Said some leakage was normal. Did a leak test and said everything was still within spec, but to let them know if it the problem worsens. No surprises there.

I’ve had my entire front suspension replaced because there was consistent leaks and the jounce lines were making noise. It’s much better now

Same for me. 2023 R1T. I have a service appointment this week.
I like the tape idea. I took measurements and logged…submitted as part of my service request.

After driving in all purpose normal height with kneel off, all measurements at 4.5" (top of tire to center of wheel well).

Measured after parked in garage overnight:
Front right 3"
Front left 3.25"
Back right 4.25"
Back left 4.25"

#2 test - All Purpose Highest setting. Rear measures 5.5" and front 6".

Measured after parked in garage overnight (~12 hours)
Front right 5.5"
Front left 5.75"
Back right 5"
Back left 5"

Measured after parked in garage overnight (~36hours)
Front right 5.5"
Front left 5"
Back right 5"
Back left 5"

Measured after parked in garage overnight (~60hours)
Front right 3.5"
Front left 4"
Back right 5"
Back left 5"
