I wouldn't worry about it, personally. It sounds like Rivian is learning from their issues and addressing some of the "repairability" challenges. This is an embarrassment. I'm glad I don't have to rely on in-car navigation to locate things like charging stations, but I don't know how I could trust her for anything. I love to "show off" the Rivian, but Alexa navigation would definitely not be something I'd want to show anyone... -

I followed Alexa once when she took me to the back entrance of a local shopping center, instead of the front. Unfortunately all that was there were lots of trash dumpsters. Your gif would've been much more rewarding. 😆 -

Ha! Too funny. We love our house, but the community and city government is an absolute sh** show. 😆 Doesn't help that we're involved in a lawsuit against the City of Manassas Park over some bullsh** that existed for years before we moved here. Fun times... -

Valid point - I think that's what she's doing in that example. Heck, even residents of "Manassas" and "Manassas Park" get them confused sometimes (even though they are entirely separate cities), haha. -

Front bumper damage - valet garage. Replacement?
That sensor is going to make it 10x more expensive than "just a piece of plastic". Hopefully they can reuse the sensor, but it probably only comes as a complete assembly. Good luck, let us know what they work out. -
Solved
The grommets are the same in the O.E. Chilewich mats. I broke a couple and just pulled them off the original mats. They're going to sit on a shelf in my garage until doomsday anyway, so why not repurpose the grommets? 😉- Oldsmobile_Mike

Does Rivian work with Tesla Supercharger outside the US?
Thanks for the detailed response and the picture! I'm kinda slow sometimes so appreciate those. 😆 It would be interesting to hear if someone has imported their Rivian to Europe, and what their experience has been. Probably not too common yet though, haha. -

Using Rivian as power supply during hurricane?
Quite a few threads on this. Until Rivian (and hardware manufacturers) release the "official solution" for drawing power from the CCS port (which will probably be somewhere in the 7-9kW range), you're limited to the capacity output of the 110v outlets (1500-1700 watts, if I recall correctly)... -

How do you handle texts in your R1?
Most of the people I communicate with on the regular don't use texts anymore. Too much spam. But I do miss getting my Microsoft Teams notifications on the screen (old truck had AA). 😝
