I don't recall seeing a Selected_For_Fulfillment value. For me it was:
Mine is currently
"state":"CONFIGURED"
"configurationStatus":"CONFIGURED"
"type":"PRE_ORDER"
"fulfillmentSummaryStatus":"SELECTED_FOR_FULFILLMENT"
"vehicleId":null

And for clarity - I've got a guide, configuration not locked, PBA not signed.

i wonder how they are going to prioritize early reservation holders that now switch from OC to BM. There has to be a good chunk of those. If they choose to prioritize those... that could delay plenty of people in this thread.
Not necessarily - my guess is that in November when those dates were set they though they could produce OC alongside everything else. So, it was already baked in that all these folks would be getting trucks. That doesn't mean there won't be delays, because they are going to miss March/April deliveries, but I don't think it's going to be because OC folks are switching.

Are you thinking there are 4 steps to it in total?
1) Nothing noted (Order placed)
2) Selected_For_Fulfillment (Guide assigned)
3) PENDING_FULFILLMENT (PBA signed)
4) VEHICLE_DELIVERED (Delivered)
I can see....
READY_FOR_FULFILLMENT
FULFILLED
VEHICLE_DELIVERED

If they have a 1000 trucks available right now with BM... let's say those were going to to a lot of people with April/May deliveries, as they seemed to be up next. However, now a bunch of early reservation holders are switching from OC to BM... if Rivian decides to prioritize those people, based on reservation date... then that will bump back the people that may otherwise have received those vehicles.

Just trying to help figure out what all this means:
I had Guide Call on 4-15-22 and signed PBA on the same day.
Haven't had the 8 Steps released yet.
Checked this today with the GraphQL you mentioned earlier(thanks)

How do you find this info? I'm sorry, but I'm struggling to find it. Thank you all!
You'll want to be in Edge or Chrome for these instructions - other browsers can do it but the steps may vary. Note - DevTools are safe but can be scary and intimidating.

Open a new window and hit the F12 key, or right-click on the page and select "inspect." A new pane or window should open up called DevTools or similar. You should see a row of tabs along the top. Click the "Network" tab. Check the "disable cache" box at the top. Should look something like this.

Rivian R1T R1S Any "March-April" delivery people contacted? 1651005465229

In the new tab, go to rivian.com and sign into your account, then navigate to the vehicle reservation (the icon that says "R1T 01" on the left).

Go back to DevTools, hit the magnifying glass icon, and type configurationStatus. The list below should filter to one or a few items. You want an entry or entries that start with "graphql". Click the text below graphql.

Rivian R1T R1S Any "March-April" delivery people contacted? 1651005633060

In the right-hand pane, click the "response" tab and then click the little {} button at the bottom to pretty-print this response so it is readable. You should see a structured JSON payload with the properties and values we're comparing here (and a bunch of personal data like your address, preordered accessories, configuration, etc.). The pertinent info should be under "orderSnapshots". If you don't see it, try clicking the other graphql responses in the left-hand pane.

Once you're done, close DevTools so it doesn't sit there recording network activity for no reason 🙂

Be careful sharing screenshots or copied text from this view - there's a lot of your personal information in there including various GUIDs, your name and address, etc.

Does anyone have a sense for the timing between when a VIN is assigned to vehicle delivery? My guide indicated that next step was getting a VIN, but was very vague about what happens after that!
Here is a very current example…
I had my Guide intro last Tuesday (19 April) and got my PBA immediately thereafter.
Late yesterday (Monday 25 April) I got my VIN assignment and 8 Step Process notification.
This morning I jumped on my computer and knocked out the 8 Steps in a couple of hours, to include scheduling for delivery on Thursday 28 April in the afternoon.

Did they send you an email or a contact from your guide when you got your VIN assignment and 8 Steps? Congrats on the delivery date!

And I'm back to logging in every few hours again... thanks a lot! o_O

Sure but you have the wrong root cause, imho. .

The OC folks who would take those trucks should have already been in the April / May group because they were put there in November before Rivan knew they were going to have a problem with OC. Put another way: Someone who ordered in June 2019 with BM and someone who ordered with June 2019 with OC (who live in a similar delivery area) would be in the same delivery window.

The reason the BM folks could get bumped is that Rivian didn't produce enough trucks in general to cover the number of reservations in the April/May group regardless of interior color and their order date is after someone with OC who switched so they wouldn't be delayed.

Yeah, every time people post stuff like this I go back into my Rivian account and check my status. Then I get disappointed.

So you were able to schedule delivery immediately after completing the first 7 steps?

I got my 8 steps today but when I got to the delivery scheduling there were no appointments available (through Rivian Specialist or Carrier). Is this common? Are they waiting for funds to clear through Plaid?

...I wonder if they removed the vehicleId field from the website. Can anyone still see it?
