Definitely no Kick Turn, and the Quad Launch was fully loaded. They gave me $50K for the trade, but I had nearly 60K miles on the truck.
AND a word to the wise (not the stupid like me!), the original R1T Rivian all weather mats seem to fit well, all buttoned to the posts, until you floor the...
R1T; don't disagree on the sound...while quieter, definitely don't get that jet engine ramp and rock!
Can't tell yet on efficiency, mostly around town driving.
Traded in my G1 Quad for G2 Quad, and after 10 days, thought I might offer some first hand observations! I got the G1 pre price increase so, with the trade in value they gave me, was not terribly painful for the upgrade (guess about the same as buying a new loaded Sierra Denali with a much...
Hey all, I sent a note to my guide on how sketchy the regen mode seems to be on downhill descents, and got the attached reply. Sound like an issue for a number of folks, and seems that they are working on a fix???
Hey all, so same issue here on steep descents in snow, running 20" ATs (which by the way have a 3-Peak snow rating, which is pretty good in general).
First snow dump of the year, on a steep descent from our house on a gravel road, in All-Purpose mode, high-regen, the truck rear end slips out...
Hey All! So after a couple snow storms here in Colorado, I can say that the R1T on steep descents in snow (I'm running the 20" Pirelli ATs) can be really sketchy.
I have a steep grade dirt road with left curve near my house, and first snow, with All-Purpose mode, high regen, the truck would...

Thanks all for the input! I can shred going uphill on the ATs, seriously hard to throw it sideways in slick conditions...downhill, its probably me and the regen getting aligned....!!!!
Quick question on the vehicle settings and Blizzaks; I have 20" AT tires which are supposed to be 3 Peak rated, but last two snows that have hit, when I am headed down a steep incline the truck slides out like CRAZY. I was wondering if you might have had a similar driving scenario on the 'zaks...
Anyone having this happen with Charge Sessions and Rivoan Wall Charger?
No data logged in the history (maybe it only logs public chargers?), and Rivian Wall Charger does not recognize a Rivian vehicle apparently?
I sent a note to CS but crickets....
In case anyone was wondering for food/cooler storage, temp in frunk and gear tunnel after ~2 hours
Colorado highway drive time, 80 degrees or so ambient.
So, I used the air compressor for the first time today, and when I hooked up the air hose to inflate a flat ATV tire, there was a TON of water inside the hose.
I was lucky enough to have the tire inflation adapter connected to the hose (but not connected to the tire stem when I turned it on)...
If it helps, I did the install myself; was pretty easy as I have an aux panel in my garage, and had open slots for a 60 Amp breaker.
Used 6/2 MC armored cable (so didn't need to run conduit), and hardest part of the install was stripping the cable!
The Rivian unit uses two T-20 torx security...
OK, I'm not smart enough, but after recent OTA update, does anyone know what this Icon represents?
I cannot find it in the manual, and not sure exactly what its supposed to be...I thought it might be energy gauge related, but not entirely sure!
.
Hello fellow Coloradoans!
So, August 2019 preorder (R1T LE, LE Green, BM Interior, Underbody Shield), March/April Delivery window (yeah....not so much), finally an April 26th PBA completed, had a VIN, then lost a VIN, was apparently reassigned a VIN (though I don't have that actual # yet from...
Black Mountain...had to drop the camp kitchen since that apparently is out of the mix until Q3....but they did say the would honor the original price!
Did you get the charger and did they ship that early? I'm hoping to get it before the truck so I can charge without having to use a 110 wall...
Ouch!
I was Aug 2019, never cancelled and you beat me to the line....but congrats nonetheless...it is a sweet rig!
Maybe Evergreen is just too far from Denver!
I'll keep (sort of!) patiently waiting!
Will do; last time I asked it was waiting for "production scheduled" status change.....but that was two weeks back! I'm sure it will happen S00n!
If you don't mind me asking, when was your Pre-order date?
Can't wait to get a Colorado impression after you drive it around a bit!
