8/19 Pre-order, LE R1T, LE Green, BM Interior, March/April Window
1st Guide Call on 4/15, then a week to get the PBA....annnddd then....crickets.

I texted my guide after I processed the PBA, and asked about next steps, and if it would be 2 weeks or 2 months just sonI could get an idea on when to line up funds.

Response back was that I had to wait for a VIN, and that he had not figured out the science to the timing...implying it could be two weeks, or could be two more months!

Back in the wait cycle I guess?

Seems that delivery timing from PBA is all over the map, so not sure how to metric off that....seems I'm back to S00N!

Hey we talk to our guides the same day! Except I got my PBA within the same day, and then crickets….. She said that I had the most common configuration, but they can’t tell me if they’re going to meet my delivery window and have gotten little to no information. I wonder if they’re updating vehicles, or they’re fixing common complaints from recent deliveries, or maybe even a severe part shortage and they don’t want to disclose it at this point. All speculation.

Pretty frustrating because I’ve already lined up financing through my credit union, but they can’t guarantee it more than 30 days out, and the Fed is about to jack up interest rates May 5th, so let’s sure to have an impact on loan rates.

Definitely frustrating, and appears that the March/April delivery window is now OUT the proverbial window!

I feel for you on the financing, rates certainly are not going down anytime soon...

If the production teams are not giving the guides any detail on timing, that does not bode well for consistent output to be sure.....

Does anyone have a sense for the timing between when a VIN is assigned to vehicle delivery? My guide indicated that next step was getting a VIN, but was very vague about what happens after that!

Finally, some progress ! I just got a call from my guide (2nd call) to confirm (again) my configuration. I received the PBA within a few minutes after talking with him.

Now I'm waiting for the 8 step process to show up in my account.

Been waiting for 8 step process to open since Friday the 15th. This hurry-up and wait stuff reminds me of my Marine Corps days. Only I used to get in trouble back then when I had idle time.

VehicleId doesn't directly correlate to VIN. My vehicleID changed a few times from when I originally had a value assigned.

In case you are curious what the values look like for a delivered vehicle (I guess I am still "Soft locked" so I can change my config?) :

Mine is still only in the "Selected_For_Fulfillment" stage.

I found it in a GraphQL response. But I'm not a dev, so there may be an easier way.

i wonder how they are going to prioritize early reservation holders that now switch from OC to BM. There has to be a good chunk of those. If they choose to prioritize those... that could delay plenty of people in this thread.
