  1. Conserve Mode: $125 a month tire cost!

I assume you didn't rotate the tires. Pirelli recommends rotating the tires every 5000-7000 miles.
  2. What are you paying to charge your Rivian?

Yes, vampire drain is a real concern when talking about cost of energy ! The display in the truck doesn't take this into account. There is no way to easily measure it, unless you have a separate meter. I hope Rivian can fix it with software updates.
  3. What do you use your R1T hitch for? (Picture Edition)

I just brought home a new electric zero turn mower, DR Power ZT5E. Another step in getting off the fossil fuel habit. It's lot less noise while mowing too.
  4. Rodent chewed through wire harness, causing $7K repair (and $1650 towing)

I live in a rural farm area and have always had trouble with mice getting into the garage. They would chew through the bottom door seal, until I found the Xcluder door seal. https://buyxcluder.com/x2-kits/162970-162972.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqaSOn-3M-wIVojizAB2BpwrcEAQYASABEgIrT_D_BwE It seems...
  5. Spotify app is a mess

I played around with the free version of Spotify and was not impressed. After hearing all the issues with premium users, I will not bother to upgrade. I tried Tunein and was pleasantly surprised to find some ad free stations with a good mix of music.
  6. Portable Charger & Amps/Breakers

I have both, just in case. You would most likely find the TT-30 at RV parks and it will give twice as much charge as compared to the 120V 15A plug that comes with the Rivian portable charger. It's still slow compared to using 240V options. Just remember Amps X Volts = Watts.
  7. Portable Charger & Amps/Breakers

There is a big difference between the TT-30 plug and the 14-30P. The TT-30 is 120V 30A (3600W) and typically used at RV parks. You would get about 2880W of charge. The 14-30 is 240V 30A (7200W) is used for dryer plugs and will provide about 5760 W of charge.
  8. Portable Charger & Amps/Breakers

You can use an adapter and limit the charge to 24A in the charge settings.
  9. Title, license plate (transfer or new) and registration

I received my plates and registration directly from the State of Illinois yesterday. It was only about 6 weeks after taking delivery of the truck. I guess with the factory in Illinois, they don't need to use a 3rd party. I'm still waiting on the title.
  10. Any "March-April" delivery people contacted?

You paid the $1000 deposit when you pre-ordered so they have that to cover the charger they shipped.
  11. Bed Rails

The rear motors and suspension components are under the area in front of the spare tire. The battery is under the passenger compartment. Here are some pictures from the skateboard platform at the factory delivery center.
  12. Taming the chaos that is the center console

I posted this in another thread, but I found this small tool/parts bag on Amazon and it works great in the center storage area.
  13. New Rivian R1T review video - Jon Rettinger

I think that it's a Forest Edge interior but the dark lighting makes it look like Black Mountain. But wow, that would be a beautiful combo to use FE wood with BM !
  14. Anyone with a good delivery experience?

I did a factory pickup and it was an awesome experience ! Everyone was helpful and friendly. I didn't have any issues with the truck.
  15. Center Console/Organizer

I found a handy little canvas bag that fits the center console storage bin. It has a couple of pockets and a strap. It works great for the small stuff that would otherwise be hard to get out.
  16. Saw my yet to be delivered truck on YT just now

My buyers agreement said 100 miles as well, but the actual mileage was only 23 miles when delivered.
  17. Any "March-April" delivery people contacted?

After a 3 1/2 years wait, we took delivery at the factory today. It was worth the wait and I'm extremely happy with my new R1T ! It still seems a little surreal. We got a brief tour of the factory and saw lots of R1T's coming off the line, three of which were yellow. There was one LG R1S in...
  18. Payment Method

I went online and noticed the 8 step process was open, so after completing the 1st two steps, I was waiting to see what they would give for a trade in. I got a call from my guide and he said I had the option of picking up at the factory, since I live an hour away. I said that would be great, so...
  19. Any "March-April" delivery people contacted?

I hope it includes a factory tour, but I don't know for sure. I'll be on the look out for any R1S's and take pictures if they allow it.
