It’s true. I used to charge up every time the vehicle hit 20%. I commute 1 hour round trip (40+ miles) for work and I have to charge publicly, because I don’t have a garage. Now that I’ve had my EV for 16 months I let it drop into the teens sometimes. It charges much faster when it’s lower too.Range anxiety? Not trying to mock, its just we've all grown used to '..eh, there's gas stations everywhere. If I need gas, I'll just pull over and get some'. It's different when you have an EV and you have to think about it.
72.6 to be exactcould be worse 33% on a Audi EV is like 70 miles.
Wells NV Flying J has a fairly new GM Energy CCS1. Was not open yet when I passed through late last year. Had to stretch Ely to Twin Falls. Plugshare says now open. Listed on Rivian charging map. Vehicle should find it. Supercharger in Wells is not compatible. There is another Shell Energy under construction as they convert a municipal charging station.Ely now has a Tesla SC but where is the station in Wells? Elko, West Wendover, and Twin Falls were the reliable destinations that I have encountered. If there is a new one, I would love to note it.
Many thanks for the update. I did a reset on Plugshare and it popped up.Wells NV Flying J has a fairly new GM Energy CCS1. Was not open yet when I passed through late last year. Yin and Yang battery state of charge—love it. (Even 70% battery state of charge feels better than a full tank of gas because I didn’t have to go to a gas station.)Because it is a lot less. Why does a full battery feel better than a full tank? Because I didn’t have to go to a gas station.
