I can't find any definitive information on outlets 12V or otherwise around the vehicle, other than the new NACS to NEMA 5-15 adaptor. Not having 12V in the trunk would be a real downer.
But where? Which trims? Cigarette lighter socket or something else?
Still kinda on the grey side to me.And a borealis for you anything but grey folks
I’d say the majority of users on this forum were well-aware that’s how the launch would go. Higher trims first. Base models later. Tesla followed the same matrix with both model 3 and y.Not being direct and saying explicitly what one intends is on the the one communicating, not the one forced to interpret such communication. Come on now. "You knew someone was shooting a gun and didn't avoid the bullet.. that's on YOU."
I see Rivian now makes the key fobs with visible lock/unlock icons like I had to do manually with a paint pen back in the summer of 2023. LOL.Key fob is included in the LE package.

100% my thoughtsWish they offered the darkout package or made it standard for the performance model. Let's hope for this as a 2027 option.
How many threads did we have at one time, all of them pretty much predicting a $60k launch model price point? I lost track we had so many. I was definitely in the $60k camp. It was a big camp.I’d say the majority of users on this forum were well-aware that’s how the launch would go. Higher trims first. Base models later. Tesla followed the same matrix with both model 3 and y.
Anyone who thought otherwise either lives under a rock or just plain ignorant.
This excited me the most from the details shown today! I had seen a bump in earlier reviews or pics of the interior and hoped they added MagSafe in there but thank god that they did. Losing that option from my upgraded R1T setup would have been hard to swallow if I had other live with the Gen2 version.Edmunds video confirmed magsafe on the R2. Was that already known by the community?

As a desert dweller (Phx), I would have liked to see a few more lighter colors other than "Glacier White" which is probably what I will get anyway. They really played it safe with color options. With exception of Catalina Cove (I think that's the name), basically shades of gray. I'd wager they are saving the more vibrant hues for future limited special editions.
