Ooh, I'm interested in your thoughts then. I have the same sound system (2018) & never been impressed. It is the nicest car I've had thus far, but Lexus seems to love decade old technology.
I watched a review saying the R2 sounds bad at high volumes... I didn't test that. Literally only...
I most have been pushing the R2 harder than my wife's model Y because I had to use the brake many times with regen on high. I don't normally use the brake at all. I would love a higher setting personally.
Good to know. I have Android, so no mag safe, but wireless charging should work regardless... Although I've never tried using a mag safe charger on my phone now that I think about it
I thought the Regen was relatively weak, when at the highest setting. That and the wireless charger not working are the only cons for me. I had trouble clicking the scroll wheel without scrolling as well, but experience and software update should fix that.
Sound system was excellent...
A couple of notes from my test drive (first time driving a Rivian):
Phone charger didn't work for me, but employees said it worked earlier.
Sound system is great
Rear glass roll down was perfect, roll up was wonky
Regenerative breaking could be more aggressive at the high setting
Overall, LOVE...
Definitely 20". I would go smaller if I could. And I may one day.
Personal preference but I've never liked large wheels, especially on an off road vehicle.
I like this idea, very clever!
And also, that seatbelt looks like it will reduce the likelihood of the cooler flying forward during a crash, but not stop it. With enough inertia it looks like it might just tumble end over end because the seatbelt is so low.
Nice find on that video, thanks! I'm pretty much sold on the Catalina Cove (looks amazing in sunlight), but I am interested in seeing the paint samples in person before ordering time.
