Might not happen if Ford stays long with their shares. When it dips below $60 I’m buying
I’m speculating that could happen when Ford starts selling their shares. That won’t happen until after the lockout period. I think that expires in May.When it dips below $60 I’m buying
I highly doubt they will. Ford is going to net billions from this. That will pay for a big chunk Jim Farley’s EV dream. Ford will sell as soon as it make the most financial sense to do so.Might not happen if Ford stays long with their shares.
They don't need to sell to leverage the shares they have.I highly doubt they will. Ford is going to net billions from this. That will pay for a big chunk Jim Farley’s EV dream. Ford will sell as soon as it make the most financial sense to do so.
You do have a point there. They don't need to sell to leverage the shares they have.
The IPO offering to the reservation holders was supposed to be essentially a discount on your truck, but it remains to be seen if the stock will go below IPO within the 93 day hold period. Depends on how much momentum the "all these EV stocks are overvalued" story takes on over the next 2 months.I bought below $90. Figure if I invest in a few EV area stocks and net the price of a R1T, then free truck!
There was no minimum hold period for reservation holders who bought into the IPO through the DSP. Several on this forum sold within a couple days of the IPO when the stock hit its highs in the 170 range. The IPO offering to the reservation holders was supposed to be essentially a discount on your truck, but it remains to be seen if the stock will go below IPO within the 93 day hold period. I expect the stock to dip pretty close to IPO price this week.
