Rivian was overvalued @ the IPO price IMO, and @ $85.5B market cap is even more overvalued. They have a LOT to deliver to justify current pricing!

The volume is amazing. Proves that lots of investors are following Rivian closely.

When it dips below $60 I’m buying
I’m speculating that could happen when Ford starts selling their shares. That won’t happen until after the lockout period. I think that expires in May.

Might not happen if Ford stays long with their shares.
I highly doubt they will. Ford is going to net billions from this. That will pay for a big chunk Jim Farley’s EV dream. Ford will sell as soon as it make the most financial sense to do so.

They don't need to sell to leverage the shares they have.

I am not. I'm bullish on the company, but I think this is the time when Wall Street is going to finally wise up on these overvaluations of Rivian, Lucid and even Tesla. I'm sticking with just my 100 IPO shares (I didn't buy the full 175). I don't see it rising substantially in the next 3 years and I have other investment opportunities.

I bought Tesla at $50 and later again at around $110. I finally decided to take my profits and get out before the end of the year dip. To me, that was the real EV stock opportunity that I'm not sure we are going to be able to repeat over the next decade.

I bought below $90. Figure if I invest in a few EV area stocks and net the price of a R1T, then free truck!

The IPO offering to the reservation holders was supposed to be essentially a discount on your truck, but it remains to be seen if the stock will go below IPO within the 93 day hold period. Depends on how much momentum the "all these EV stocks are overvalued" story takes on over the next 2 months.

I expect the stock to dip pretty close to IPO price this week.

There was no minimum hold period for reservation holders who bought into the IPO through the DSP. Several on this forum sold within a couple days of the IPO when the stock hit its highs in the 170 range.
