Take with a grain of salt until actual reveal in a couple hours but these are "insider" claims

• Standard range battery: 230 miles. Ext Range battery 300 miles.
• Starting price before tax credits "XL" $39.9K, "XLT" model $52.9K
• 563hp, 775 torque
• zero to 60 mph in the mid-4-second range
• 2,000lb payload factored into claimed range
• Maximum 10K towing capacity
• 12-inch instrument cluster with a customizable interface
• 15.5-inch infotainment screen in mounted on dash
• Onboard Scales, which estimates payload/tongue wt. and affect on battery range
• 400 liters of storage space in the frunk
Looks like they are really going after the Tesla pricing if those are correct. Both will have that mythical starting price under $40k.

Slower, Less horsepower, only 2 motors, can't tow as much as R1T (strange) looks basically just like a normal F-150, no exclusivity as its priced for the masses...sticking with R1T for sure. The frunk lower access is only plus to me, anyway.

I like the frunk a lot.

300 miles of range is not enough. 350 might be enough to take a test drive. After this, we will not have an ICE to fall back to. We need something that isn't going to drive us crazy with charging times or finding a charger for a road trip.

I think I prefer the Rivian size to the F150.

Thank goodness it doesn't resemble the Cybertruck.

The stealership network has plusses and minuses. At least I know that someone will attempt to repair it in Washington state without having to ship the truck to Oregon.

This will be a real winner in my book. A lot of capability if the price leak is to be believed. Rivian is obviously more powerful, and luxurious

Their frunk design vs rivians might be a result in rivians build around sealed areas for high level water fording (not a Ford pun) with Ford's design, preventing water ingress would be more troublesome to deal with at headlight level.

Ps not an engineer. But I do like the easier access

Since they can seal the Rivian doors, they could easily seal the frunk.

They could, but perhaps they chose the design they used so they wouldn't have to.

I would bet money I will use the frunk way more than I will ford a 39" stream.

But then again, the one time I had too....

That price point is less than the Mach E, but it has to have a bigger battery. Not sure how they can pull that off, or how they could justify the Mach E at the higher price.

I'll be honest, Rivian needs to wake up tomorrow or the next day and dump ALLLLL the information on their trucks as possible because Ford just knocked it out of the park.

Didn't think I would like it but what an incredible presentation. Really amazing features. Dual chargers, wonder how long to charge.
