Sell all of your stock. Or cancel your reservation. So that someone else can move up on the list. Blaming a Celebrity Reviewer. For taking a truck. That was sold to him over you. Won’t get you any satisfaction. I understand your pain. Not your Jealousy and Hate. It is Hate. You are going on and On. With Hate in your heart. Over a Truck. A Truck. The first generation of build. That you didn’t have yesterday and won’t have today. Get over it. Man or Woman up. You will get your Truck. When they are ready to give it to you. You might even get a truck with a better build quality. Since I’m sure Rivian gets better and better at there manufacturing process. As they crank out Vehicles. What if Kyle has problems with his truck. He tells Rivian about it. They listen to him. Then make changes. They will not listen to you. They wouldn’t even respect your place in the preorder line.

For those who are still wating, some 2+ or even 3+ years, I will say this I took delivery a few weeks ago and the truck is AMAZING after a week I totally forgot about the wait. I've shown the truck off to every friend family and stranger who will listen. Perma-grin is real... Hang in there it is truly worth it.

That seems to be a trait that runs in the family then since Kyle's Instagram handlers deleted my comment where I cautioned him that his over the top video praise of Rivian while picking up a new truck after jumping 50,000 people on the wait list came off as paid advertising, but without the disclaimer.

I have no issues with Kyle pulling strings, but like others, I felt the initial video omitted a lot of how shady he looked in line jumping, and then the over effusive praise of the truck during the pick up process felt like paid Rivian advertising. He was excited, I get it, but he did not really think on how it would look in light of Rivian's ramp up struggles.

I am a niche EV driver - and have been since 2015 - so 90% of Kyle's content does not interest me. That being said, I have ordered an R1T, so I will be interested to see what content he produces with his own Rivian - how far will he push it, will be be completely honest if he has a service issue with the truck, will he try to claim credit for future software improvements/enhancements?

What is obvious is that he and his family are super sensitive about this subject, and are going to great lengths to squash any negative comments or feedback on what went down. The guy has built a good business for himself, but like any good business an experienced PR team to assist from making mistakes is important. Let's see if Kyle learns from this moving forward.

IMO, despite Kyle’s conflicts and favor, his Rivian reviews seem to truly reflect his experience with Rivian and other EV’s. He seemed to think highly enough of it to want one, said as much, and then pulled whatever strings he had In order to obtain one. Recall Kyle was clear about his concerns about the throttled charging curve and winter traction concerns, perhaps other critique.

However, IMO, Kyle has just as much to learn about standard video content editing, tightening production, and shortening the laborious length of his videos as he does about transparency.
