Ultimate RAN Stations Thread List (Wiki) -- locations, reviews, quirks, tips, etc.

As a companion to the google Map and updates from this thread (RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps - Huge hat tip and thanks to @Autolycus @TeamEV and everyone else providing info there) I thought it would be helpful to create a Wiki with all the current RAN locations so we can have a single information thread for each that people can easily reference to get a lot of information about specific locations all in one place. Things like actual location, nearby amenities, food/drink, quirks, tips/tricks, etc. For example, if you want to stop in Salida for a long charge (to no more than 80%, of course) and grab a bite to eat, myself and a handful of other people have left some good food recommendations in the Salida RAN thread.

Format - The list should represent all current locations from the map listed as Open, Construction or Permit/Planning. The list only notes the locations currently listed as Construction or Permit/Planning. A location with no note is Open. Links should be the thread on the forum with the most comprehensive information on the individual location. Sometimes this is easy and other times a judgement call might be needed. Ideally this will promote people to create specific info threads for RAN locations. My initial thought was to create something like "Wheat Ridge, CO RAN Info Thread (Planned)" that follows the (currently fictitious) location and we can just change the thread title to to "under construction" and eventually "open."

This thread is a Wiki, so update as needed and huge thanks to anyone willing to spend any of your time to help fellow owners out and maybe cut down on the duplicate threads .

1/5/23 Note: Initial post includes all open AZ, OR and CO locations that I could find. I tried to avoid threads that were about something else (ie trip report) and just mentioned the RAN. Easiest way to find these that I have found is the search function in top right of the forum, enter the location and check the "search titles only" box. The map linked above also has links as backup that can be used to populate a lot of the locations below. Like I said, this is meant to be a companion since the map is an amazing resource to begin with.

Can we get a definitive answer on Waypoint inclusion - yea/nay? The attached image shows Waypoint stops and RAN stops while the list doesn’t have any/many Waypoints.

My intent was for this to be only RAN chargers and not waypoints. My logic was if you were using a waypoint, you are hopefully at the location you were going to and not just stopping by to charge very slowly. Also, lots of these places are relatively void of ammentities since they are in "adventurous" locations on purpose. If I've included any waypoints, please tag me and let me know so I can remove.

• Thanks everyone for the positive feedback and suggestions
• I added the 2 new locations (VT and VA)
• I've linked all the threads I can find for the entire list at this point
• I was a little surprised at how many open/active RAN locations have no threads
• Conversely, I've noted a couple locations that have multiple and I'd like to look in to merging (@Administrator is that possible?) - Man do you all love Grayling, MI!!

Sounds good until you compare with Tesla, who opened 21 new locations in the last 2 weeks. More than one a day! And each of those locations are on average 3x bigger than a RAN station.

Rivian, you are not catching up.

The White Mountains is a charging desert... That would be an ideal place for a RAN IMO, given all the amazing activities you can do in that region.

It can be pretty fast or take multiple months, depending on part availability and electric service turn-on.

Thank you! Can we add a thread for Newburgh, NY? I charged there yesterday and after 20 minutes of quirks I think that Chargers 1A and 1B are simply not connected. 2A charged like a dream. 50-60 miles in 6 minutes.

I'm in CO and don't anticipate visiting NY via anything but a plane for the foreseeable future, so I won't be much help on info for this specific RAN .The thread is a Wiki, so anyone can edit it and add a link, btw. I've been updating it when I see status changes, but haven't seen any new RAN site threads pop up since I created the Wiki.

The forum home screen has a "Post Thread" button (bottom right below). I'd put it in the "Charging/Battery NACS, RAN...." subforum for consistency and title it something like "Newburgh, NY RAN site"
