Technically a 2022 R1s, but delivered in January 2023.
40,800 miles
5-10% fast charging (L3); rest L2 home charger
Charge up mostly 50-85%, maybe 5% of time go to 100%
Less than 1% of range loss (you can use the ABRP to see battery or used to be able to) - less than 3 miles on the stated 278...
Without even reading it, I would say yes, the price is high. I used to work at a PE shop. One of the cos was a warranty company (they act like insurance) - the profit margin is insane.
It is really up to you. For code, we had to have a 60 am breaker meaning we only get 48 amps charging - because we did not want a hard line.
We have a LE Gen 1 R1s and a bolt and have never had an issue. We do need to pay attention to who charges when.
What up dude!
I got solar in with a powerwall under the last admin. It is a pretty cool arbitrage opportunity, but I didn't realize it is also a good inflation hedge.
I pay 20 per month to be hooked up, and my 15 year loan costs less to service monthly than my pre rivian electric usage...
So now with the software update, are you able to get the accurate speedo estimate? I have Gen1 AT on noisy Pirelli but Tirerack says the 275/60/20 do not fit for me (275/65/20 - 2022 LE ATs)
Thank you! Will the new update let us toggle into this option (275/60/20)? If not, and I get these, my speedometer will be off a bit (though it looks like it would be like 1 mph).
Are you on the 20 inch wheel now with the grabbers? Can you please list the spec for the grabber? And finally, does it equal the overall wheel+tire circumference of factory AT wheels plus pirelli AT tires?
I have the factory 20 AT wheels with original pirelli AT. In the Winter I run the...
Love it. Same make and model but with 20 AT, same month of build and Jan 2023 delivery. For some reason I can no longer see usable battery in ABRP (not the easiest interface) but within the past six months, it stated between 130.1 and 131, based on temps and if I had just driven, so in line...
Hi - Similar - on long island. On shorter trips (less than 20 minutes) my efficiency takes a big, big hit. In winter trips on 20 AT, when I precondition and charge the vehicle before departing, I am only losing 7-10 percent (say over 100 miles). I think this is just what you are going to get...
Hey - dumb off topic question: with your 20s, what all season did you switch to? I run snow tires November to April or so. April to November, I am on my original A/Ts, but they are getting loud. I didn't know if non A/Ts would be ok for the soft sand I go on in the spring/summer, but I think...
Yes at least on gen1 this is normal: my car usually estimates about 270s for all purpose and low 300s for conserve. On a ski drive I ll get about 280 unless it is below 20 the entire drive.
I run blizzak lt November to April because I am a somewhat frequent skier road tripper. You still need to be careful but snow tires help so much.
what convinced me to get snows was a YouTube video showing all types of cars on a hockey rink with and without snows. Snows were more important...
Very helpful! How do you access the RIDE menu?
I have a 22 R1s that has performed well (still getting above EPA even in moderately cold temps) but I do travel in the northeast to hit the mountains so . . . .
