Maximum speed on cruise control?

I am on a stretch of highway in Oklahoma that has a posted speed limit of 80 mph. I tried to set my cruise control at 87 mph and it will not let me put it over 85. Is there a setting I am missing? By the way, I just picked it up from having the drivetrain replaced. Could there be settings that are now off?

Cruise has a setting use either the speed limit or your current speed as the set point.

Nope. I’m pretty sure Rivian doesn’t want their software to be responsible or blamed if you kill someone else or yourself “cruising” at 90+ mph.

Adaptive cruise control (not Driver+) used to be higher, but it got nurfed sometime last fall.

Nope. If you want to go faster then you have to do it yourself. 85 covers any highway in the US.

it gives you a pop up notice about this limit on the screen. did you not see it?
