I have very similar probably a bit worse and went through every fix I could thinks of. Fill it and wrap it is probably the most cost effective, I went with stealth PPF for $100 it doesn’t make it go away it just tones it down so it’s not quite as obvious.

That looks like shrapnel damage! Can you try PDR? I wrapped mine but not sure if the PPF would have sustained that.

I don’t think PDR is an option. I think you are right, the blunt force of whatever that was would not have been stopped with film. Anyway, wrote up a ticket along with pictures. The service center will decide either replace or repair.
