No kidding. People complained about the bulkiness of the CCS connector. An extension cable is going to be 10 times worse.I wonder how bulky and heavy that would be...

A2Z I saw it is an upcoming product and got on their waitlistThere’s a lot of discussion regarding taking up two parking spots in order to charge a Rivian at Tesla stations. I’m curious: do they make a level 3 extension cord? I’ve done a search but all of them seem to be level 2. Anyone have one? Where did you get it?

Hopefully they will replace all v1 and v2 (eventually v3 as well) units with v4.I don’t expect V4 to be common given cutbacks at Tesla.
Great news! As a Tesla owner, I appreciate the problems other owners have charging at Superchargers and try to educate Tesla owners to treat non-Tesla owners with courtesy.
That’s a given. At what pace is what’s germane. In the meantime we do what we can to bridge the gap. Adapters and extensions are exactly that. Adapters are less likely to become obsolete (for as long as you own a CCS1 car). The extensions, at almost $300, which may become obsolete, may be a bridge too far. Could be part of the reluctance we see here.Hopefully they will replace all v1 and v2 (eventually v3 as well) units with v4.
Yes you can opt out of Tesla chargers.I plan to avoid Tesla chargers as much as possible. I don’t feel welcome there and I’m not keen on giving Elon any of my money. He has plenty.
Do route planners include the ability to avoid Tesla chargers? They should.
Plus, keeping away lowers my odds of suffering prolonged exposure to a cybertruck.
