I asked and will let you know. ?I didn't see prices listed on their web site, so as the saying goes, "if you have to ask, you can't afford it."

Talk about a clickbait picture for his video. I quickly clicked through just to convince myself he didn't put a super low profile tire on the hummer!

I just had my Bolt battery pack replaced, it is already very much plug & play. The BMS computer is inside the battery, there are three electrical connectors to the battery pack and two cooling connections. One of the GM e-crates uses the Bolt motor and battery, there is a newer one based on Ultium that is using the Lyric setup, which has a wireless BMS system. The Mach E pack is also pretty modular as well, and that is what Fords e-crate is using.Watching the JRE series I think my biggest takeaway is that plug and play battery solutions have a ways to go for this to be anything other than a very boutique (and expensive) process. The crate propulsion systems from GM and Ford will help, but until there is a decent plug and play battery package that will reduce the wiring required, these projects will be super labor intensive and as expensive or moreso than simply buying a new EV.
I've heard that the Bolt and Leaf packs are the best for e-crate mods and that makes sense. I'm waiting for more details from GM in the availability and price of their ultium crate system. I'll be very interested to see what the $/kwh is.I just had my Bolt battery pack replaced, it is already very much plug & play.
