I did not vote, no category for my pattern.

I usually charge at 40 or 44 amps, only plug in when I’m charging, usually charge to 80% when I charge and plug in when I get below 60%. Unless I’m going out of town I only charge once or twice a week.
Pretty close to my pattern. 48 amps, only plug in at 40-50% and charge to 75%. Do that once or twice a week.

We have 20kW of solar here in Arizona, so we typically plug in between 9am and 4pm and charge both Rivian's up to 70% using two dedicated hard-wired 60A circuits. We haven’t needed to use the grid (11pm–5am rate window) for charging since late August. In the brutal heat of summer, we will have to hit the grid now and then.

We put a heat/cool pump in the pool a few months back, which draws 7kW, so if you have that running, a charger and AC's, it will pull from the grid in the Summer. Wish I had another 8kW of solar, but we're tapped out. Cooling the pool in the summer is kind of fun though.

We do not have TOU rates here in RI; it's the same regardless if I charge mid-day or Midnight. I have solar on the house, and generally try and limit my charging to when the sun generating power to the house. Since our home is all electric, I am wary of the amperage that the EV can draw, and usually have that throttled down to the minimum of 8amps (pulling about 1.7kWh) while plugged in so we don't chew into our energy Net Credits.

I've gotten into the habit of using a regional DCFC to get the battery up to 85%, if we are are expecting to do a lot of traveling using the R1T, then will plug it into the home power to bring it up to 100% at the lower amps.

We are expecting to get wholloped with a Springtime Nor'Easter starting tonight. Charged the R1T up to 85% at the local DCFC, and have it plugged into the garage now to top it off to 90%.

Full send all day and all night for the launch edition.

48 amps and 90% charge limit so I can use all the power available on tap without having any sort of range anxiety that come with 34" All Terrain tires.

ABC of EV ownership:

ABC: Always Be Charging

I haven't noticed any battery degradation over the last couple years and I have charged to 100% bunch of times and even 95% some times.

I charge to 85% most of the time and 100% about once a month (which delivery recommended on my Gen2). My 50AMP charger is doing its best to deliver that power all the time, no reason to change it and not worried about anything as the circuit was pulled for my EVs about 3 years ago with new wire, outlets and breakers.

Our solar system doesn't seem to provide the full 11 kW to the car even when it's getting more sun than that. I'm not sure why, maybe it can only send so much power to the house and the rest has to go to the grid. Need to find out. Anyway I sometimes derate to 32A to avoid pulling from the grid. But usually and if charging at night, fulll 48A because why not?

TOU rates are available here, but the off peak rates are so close to the existing flat rate, and the peak times are so incredibly high that it's not worth subscribing, even with an EV. I still charge at full rate (40A in my case) starting at 12:30am, but that's mostly to heat the battery a bit before I leave. And really, even though my power company has awful TOU rates, I know it's a bit easier on the grid to charge at night. Maybe one day Rivian will figure out scheduled departure charging.

Similar to alot of the others but in transition from moving
dedicated Rivian and Tesla wall units for the wife and I when at home in Chattanooga on 60 amp breakers
Her work place in Huntsville has free charging on 30 amp units
since we are travelling so much we keep them at least at 90% to be able to travel back and forth without charging

I voted full send, but my pattern is inconsistent. I charge at 48A to 80% a few times a week. Most of the time on sunny days from solar or at night as needed (I try to stay above 30%).

ABC: Always Be Charging
This is me. ABC. If the trucks at home, it's plugged in. Charge limit set to 85% and mostly forgotten about unless a road trip or boat tow is coming the next day, then it's bumped to 100%.

I only have the Rivian Mobile Charger, so I have no control on the charger for rate. I get what I get.

I found in early ownership i was wasting a lot of time/effort worrying about it. Adopted the above pattern and literally haven't opened the app in weeks now. It's great.

Can you go into the energy tab on your Rivian infotainment with your mobile connector plugged in and manually adjust the amperage?

I am pretty sure I did that like 1.5 years ago when we went camping and all I had was a slow 110 volt outlet. I think I took the amperage down to 10 amps.

Edit: I would only do this in a one off situation where you need to pull down less.

Normally, I leave it at stock 48 amps and let it pull what it can pull from my home charging station.

No TOU here. So I don’t delay the charge.

Well I do have solar, so I sort of have a TOU in that power in theory sort of costs less when the sun is in the east and not blocked by clouds, but I don’t bother to account for that. Most of the year when the sun is out and to the east the A/C uses most of that anyway.

L2 charging even at full speed is far less than DC charging. So so so much so that I can’t imagine the AC charging at 9kW v 4 kW really makes any difference until the pack is very very nearly full (and the BMS seems to back off then by itself, so I don’t need to try to adjust).

...also it is a lease, so while I might in theory buy it off in ~3 years chances are high I’ll want a different EV at that point anyway so the exact wear on that pack will end up being someone else’s issue. Sorry whoever you are, I followed Rivian’s guidelines, but did nothing beyond that. Hope it works out for you, it was great for the first three years!

I have the rivian wall charger and have never messed with the amperage, so I guess it's at max. Every couple of days during the week, when I'm mostly just back and forth to work and to kids' activities and minor errands around town, when I get under 20% or so, I charge to 70% overnight at home. When I know I'm going out to the ranch or on a road trip the next day, I charge to 95% overnight at home. I have never charged to 100. I don't know why.

Not sure what you mean by "full send"... I have a Grizzl-e classic on a 14-50 outlet charge at 40A between 8PM & 8AM, to 70%, anytime I am less than 40%. Charge to 90% for road trips.
