Seeing as I WFH and don't drive daily, I try to charge my EVs on excess solar generation after my PWs have been filled (typically by noonish), so I'm always derating to about 20A.

I have a 40 amp charger but derate to 32 amps just to keep heat down on the NEMA plug connection. I bump it up in the rare event I need the speed.

I did not vote. Maybe I need more coffee but do not understand your use of the phrase "full send" in this context.

Typically charge about every 3-4 days to 85%. My charger is a 48A/60A circuit, but because I have plenty of time during my non-peak hours, I usually only charge at 40A to keep it from getting warm.

Because I have animals loose in the garage it's a bit more time-consuming to open & close the door to get the truck out, but that's a "me problem". Sometimes I just toss the cord out the window, but haven't done that in a while. 😆

I charge to 85% once a week at home (during super off peak hours 9am-4pm) and again if state of charge goes below 40%. I want range in case of unexpected trips or emergencies.

I usually hover around 60-70%

On our electric cooperative, we get net metering for solar, but can't also get the low EV night charging rate, so no time of use benefit. They allow one or the other. So 48A whenever we plug in, charged to 70% for us.

I charge to 85% most of the time and 100% about once a month (which delivery recommended on my Gen2). My 50AMP charger is doing its best to deliver that power all the time, no reason to change it and not worried about anything as the circuit was pulled for my EVs about 3 years ago with new wire, outlets and breakers.
I was told when I picked my R1S up in March that Rivian owners who routinely charged to 90% were not experiencing any adverse effects. The young lady who lead my tutorial also encouraged me to charge to 100% ever two weeks or 500 miles. The owners’ manual also recommended do something similar.

Well we have solar panels: so for me it just uses the sun juice instead of sending it back to the grid…. Except winter!

Working on dynamic chargers based on incoming PV power / battery level.
22.8kW of solar and it freaking rips at this time of year, have been seeing a lot of 21.6kW of PV coming in.
