R1 AC Noise
Iām testing out 2 piece and 2 layer SUV roof shades to see how much it helps. The best thing you can do about the noise is to pre-condition the cabin ahead of time so the AC noise will be at a minimal once you get in to drive.- MidnightRivian

Most folks who are selling it for around $500 probably got it with their pre-order for that price or they received it as a promotion from Rivian with Q-Merit install credit. I would personally try to snag one from a well known or local member for under $500 and call it a day. -

I personally would install a hardwired EVSE with a 60 amp breaker for long term charging. For right now you can use the Tesla charger you have with A2Z Stellar J-1772 adapter and manually turn down the amperage on the Rivian to around 40 amps or lower.
