And where does the spare go??
You don't need a spare.

You just buy a "cyber quad" that stays in the bed and when you get a flat you ride that to get help after covering the truck with the "cyber tarp" that we have seen the broken down trucks covered with. You bring that person and their tools back on the cyber quad, they help you remove the cybertarp, and after they are done vomiting they can hopefully help you fix your tire.

The 'sail-side' is blocking the view of the tire, but it does look quite a bit closer to the 'rear cab wall' than I would hav expected! Even my long large MTB has what appears to be similar clearance in my R1T box. I wonder if that 6' measurement is on the optimistic side... it also appears in that photo that neither the 'rear cab wall' nor the tailgate are vertical.

And you'd need a hell of a tailgate pad not to smash your bike frame up!!

You’ve clearly thought this through. It wouldn’t surprise me if Elon marketed the cyber tarp as a cloaking device.

To be honest though, I kinda wish I had these kind of toys when I was a kid.

That thing has 15 miles of range! I would have definitely asked my parents for that when I was a kid. Then they would have reminded me that we were poor and they had to put my school clothes on layaway at Kmart?

I just measured by Santa Cruz Hightower with a medium frame size, and it's 6' 3" long.

I also measured from the back of the rear wheel to the point just under the handle bars, and it's 4' 6" long.

So I would guess that bed is between 54" - 60". No way is it 72"+.

I know the angle of this video is still bad, but it looks like the back wall of the bed is way deeper than the top edge is. It'll be impossible to secure tall loads to the cab wall.

I’m eagerly awaiting the Kim Java roof glass test for the Cybertruck. That will tell us if it’s hardcore or not.

The CyberShop will have an accessory to address this - CyberStraps. Roll down the rear windows and use custom hooks to secure the straps to the C Pillars and the wheel flares.

You laugh? Remember the Tesla Grabber that they give to UK owners when they discontinued right hand drive?
