They look the Same as ones that used to be made by a company called safejack. “rennstand”. I believe they are made by safejack.

The central part comes off. you sit that on the floor Jack, put it on the jack point, lift the vehicle, and attach the legs.
Everything Safejack sells is great in my experience.

But in this case, SafeJack was reselling RennStands. I can't find it now, but a few months ago I noticed Safejack had a note on their website that they no longer sold the RennStand. If I recall correctly, they had lost the right to sell it.

I can't find anything on the the Safejack site tonight, but RennStand stills sells them.

some jack stands are more than the floor jacks. for that price id rather just get two floor jacks and have the spare jack if i need it.

I have the Pro Eagle Kratos. Can handle both the height and weight easily, but is also great for off-roading.

Floor jacks are not safe to work under. You still need jack stands.

I've reading thread and watching videos on Rivian tire rotations and am confused.

I've been using a local tire place to rotate my tires on my Tesla Model S's for the last 8 years. They charge $25/rotation. Same for a tire swap when I swap my winter wheels off for my summers. They may not have the pucks for the Rivian so I may need to get those, but seems like having them do it vs buying $1,000 worth of jacks/wrenches I don't have seems to make a lot more sense.

Do people just enjoy doing this at home or already have the gear? It seems less economical and certainly wont be "fun" for me.

I'm guessing you also don't have the equipment to take tires off the wheels at home either? Hardly fun work but I like feeling accomplished. Of course if they are nice wheels I won't touch it with manual equipment.

Nope. I do have a floor jack but i'd need 2 to rotate, plus the pucks, plus the right socket for the lug nuts plus the torque wrench. Then storing all that etc. For $25 and 15 mins of waiting seems like an easier option to have someone else do it.

I have a second set of winter wheels+tires for every car too, so I don't have to work around someone else's schedule if I were to do the seasonal storage option. Really easy to change in the driveway and I tend to only "rotate" seasonally when I swap wheels.

Makes sense if you have the gear. I drive too much to go a full season without rotating.

Do you mean not using an impact wrench to take off nice wheels?
