Just got my intro email from my guide!! Phone call with him tomorrow at 1:30 to discuss details. The big news?.....I have OC interior. Let's hope he doesn't tell me it's delayed and I'd need to switch to BM to get it now.

I Received call from my guide on 3/1/22.. Introduction/confirm configuration/said truck is just a few weeks away. Will be in touch the next couple weeks with more info.

Received the 8 steps for purchase on 3/16/21. Filled out, wired money and now waiting for STEP #8 to "unlock"... Guide said truck is most likely still on way to nearest service center.. They will do a predelivery final inspection which he said takes a couple days. Once that is done he said he will contact me to set up delivery. :computerrage:
Changing my delivery signature again... to my dismay, the delivery team showed up in an El Cap with my VIN number on it. While El Cap is lovely, it's not what I ordered. No idea how they are going to approach finding an unallocated Launch Green and fix the purchase agreement. OMG. I need a beer... <edit: I need multiple beers>

Yup... purchase agreement was accurate. In fact, they looked it up and saw immediately that there was a problem. This will be interesting...

I have a guide assigned!

June 2019 reservation, R1T, LE, LG, OC, 20".

Sent the guide a text to establish communications and the response was "
Hello Joel! Thanks for virtually introducing yourself! We are super excited for the chance to get you into an R1T. We will be in touch on next steps soon if that works for you. "
I think they should at least type it out as s00n!

Note that when I logged in around noon today I still didn't have a guide. At 3pm I did and it now says that my configuration is confirmed, though I haven't actually spoken with the guide, and may change exterior color (Forest Green was gorgeous in person, and I previously ruled it out) if it won't create too long a delay.

Coincidentally, I have a test drive scheduled for tomorrow morning. Maybe I could just drive one home now?;)
I exchanged a couple more texts with my guide. I asked about the impact of switching from LG to FG, and if it's true that there are indefinite delays with OC. Here are the responses.
"To your questions:
1) Changing color will impact your delivery timing
2) Ocean coast is on the road map but I don't see any coming up for delivery in the immediate future"

and
"It's not possible for me to predict the impact of LG -> FG switch with any accuracy, apologies. Can I propose you check out the BM on your drive (have a blast, I bet you will love the truck!) and let me know how you like it? If you would consider a switch it's likely that we could get you in that configuration sooner than the OC. Let me know how your drive goes!"

Figured this info may matter to some of you.

That thought literally went through my head… probably would have been easier than fixing my financing and insurance and purchase agreement that are all tied to that number. I can only imagine what is going on at the Bellevue Service Center right now….

Yikes man, good luck. Ironically I have the same fear about my upcoming delivery but I thought it was just my paranoid ways :p

Hey man… sorry if I do! Short of prying up the VIN plates and swapping them, bumping another LG seems inevitable.

I can’t imagine how this happened… about a week ago, I was able to get an employee I know to confirm that the VIN was LG.

I’m now 28 hours from sending wire according to instructions and step 7 hasn’t budged.

My guide says he’s seen wires take up to 5 days and wait to see what happens tomorrow. I hope he’s right. That would be the longest I’ve ever seen for one to go completely through. I mean, it’s Wells to BofA. Kind of nerves me out having that kind of $ out in the ether.

Sounds like yours went through to complete Step 7 relatively quickly.
My wire was sent out today...Wells to BofA too. I just uploaded proof of confirmation to Step 7 and emailed it to my guide as well. Hoping they confirm everything soon!

Certainly glad I didn't use the wire option! I linked my account with the Plaid thing and the step completed instantly for me

I will say, they have been hot on it both here locally and in Illinois and I appreciate their attention. Sounds like human error somewhere along the chain. They’ve already identified another vehicle and are working to get it ready for a weekend delivery.

Being one of the batch of first Guinea pigs, some issues were bound to happen. How they react to it is what matters most to me!
