Wow - thanks, that's really helpful. I'm assuming you need to log into your Amazon account as well for all of this to work? If that's the case, can I also use Alexa in my house for climate control or to check battery levels? There was a 3rd party app that allowed this for my Tesla - I could ask Alexa to warm up my car or ask what the charge status was, which was pretty handy (not that opening the app was any sort of massive burden).

Nope. It's native to the car. I don't even have Prime LOL

I wonder if Alexa can call a bomb threat with your voice after collecting enough samples. Or call your boss and say “take this job and ….” with your voice when it senses a tone of dissatisfaction when you are coming back from work. What do you guys think future updates and capabilities will include?

on a bit more serious note, can any of the owners say how loud the music can be while Alexa can still understand you? Especially when radio or podcast is playing back only voice not music.

Wait, does that mean Amazon Music is available, or is it just playing from your Bluetooth connected phone?

Amazon music support. I assume I will have the option to log into my Music account. Now I just need them to add Prime Video and Netflix….or fix the charging curve!

Yes, via Alexa.
Bluetooth from phone
You can use Bluetooth if you want, but Alexa will play Amazon Music through her skill without even having a phone connected and provide much better quality if you pay for the HD option.
