I was very interested when I saw the reference in the 2025.26 release notes to optimizing steering performance in Sport and Off-Road modes.
I've only tried Sport Mode so far, but here are my thoughts:
I am driving a Gen1 Quad R1T on OEM 21s. I didn't notice a ton of difference around town, but I found myself driving in Sport Mode more often than previously. I liked it a little better, but couldn't put my finger on why.
Today I drove my favorite section of HWY 49 through the American River Canyon. That put a smile on my face. Previously, I felt like there was too much under-steer. Now it feels more neutrally balanced. It doesn't feel like it is scrubbing as much around the corners. Am I imagining this? Have you noticed a difference on your vehicle? (Please note which tires you are running, and whether you are Dual, Tri, or Quad.)
