In a conversation with customer service today, I was told that we will be getting new delivery windows in January 2023.

They said they were going to update them every 3 months. The closer it gets to your window the more constrained it will be. I will be pleasantly surprised if they narrow down the '24 window to 1H or 2H.

I have the same delivery window. Since we are close I don't anticipate ours changing.

Maybe they meant to say the windows with large ranges such as all of 2024 will get narrower bands.

I doubt that's happening. Some folks who have FE just got their 8 steps open up.

Didn't somebody mention that Rivian is planning on manufacturing pause in January? We may find that this current rush to get reservation holders into vehicles may slow down quite a bit come new year.

Interesting - will there be some benefit with that? Ironing out faults, etc.?

There is a small shutdown right at the beginning of the year. It's only 4-5 working days from what I understand. Nothing significant.

and even if it didnt say "by the end" of January, only a fool at this point would expect any day other than January 31!!
