I really do hope the R2 works out for us, we're wanting to go from two vehicles to one, currently have a BMW iX and a Wrangler 4xe, love the iX for the BEV perks (quiet, inexpensive operation, quick, etc.) and it's a killer highway cruiser.
However, we love the Wrangler because it has nice big side rails, it's sort of "door proof", it's easy to park against curbs with the beefier tires, it can get out of most situations (over parking stops, through medians, in reasonable deep water).
I really feel like the R2 will be a nice blend of the two, plus, we had an '08 T4R we just loved (V8 LTD), and this is definitely giving me "EV 4Runner" vibes.
