Plus if it totally breaks again, I can make it their problem!

When I installed the secondary harness it disabled all sensors and ADAS on mine.

I think the latest recommendation is to install when Rivian is in deep sleep if you didn't do so. Also, I've been hard rebooting (hazard light method) after installation of new OP software.

Yeah, this was a huge discussion on the Discord. But it was going on just before my service appointment so I had to just stop trying, and removed everything.

The John Travolta reboot did NOT fix things.

Battery-off reset didn't fix it.

Removing all add-ons, and doing BOTH of those did fix it.

Oof, you had a tough install. Hopefully you have an early model Rivian so the reinstall of the harness isn't too painful!

Just FYI, the mads-tesla stuff has been merged into SP master so you can use a prebuilt master version of Sunnypilot like sunnypilot/staging-c3-new if you wanted the latest of the latest.

I'm pretty sure Rivian has a tacit acceptance of the Comma being used by Gen 1 owners at the point. And I think they're paying attention and almost using us as a test bed for Gen 2 features - for example they're already testing a cooperative steering feature on Gen 2 that looks exactly the same as Openpilot's!
I switched to the main branch, but noticed that I lost the ability to select "driver personality" with the scroll wheel. I am also wondering if the use of perimiter warnings to avoid a lane switch also tranported. Anyone have experience? Do you think that updates will be made to: sunnypilot/staging-c3-new in order to return the driving personality profiles? Thanks all!

Are you using the Rivian's ACC right now when you're driving or OP Long? Sounds like you may not have Openpilot Longitudinal toggled on in the developer menu.

To change driving personality you have to turn on "open pilot longitudinal control" (worded something like that) under one of the menus

Mine won't let me select OP Long for some reason. Tells me my vehicle isn't supported...

You are correct sir! So, Open Pilot Longitudinal control should be toggled on?
