We shall see. Politics are not aside; I despise anything with Musks fingers on it, and the more I see how he's meddling with world politics, the more I despise him. That and Tesla voted to give him a $54B (that's BILLION!) bonus (currently on hold by a judge). He and they obviously do not need my money.
That said, the local Tesla charging station is just way too convenient. There is one EVGo charger in town; I have not tried it yet, but I am planning on it. Learned the benefits of keeping the Rivian at 70% capacity (Daily Drive setting). That IS in the range when charging stations will just give you full throttle on a recharge. I charged up at Tesla yesterday from 48%, and I was in and done to 70% within 16 minutes. I was going to the Tesla stations because they are in a parking lot for a gas station / convenience store (read coffee and snacks).
